Hans Pfeffel and Irene Secretan have been sharing their 26 years of glass-making expertise with locals and tourists in the Bay of Banderas area.
Irene is adept at stained-glass works and filigree while Hans takes to the torch to make lamp work beads, stone grinding and fused glass art.
The duo has a studio/boutique gift shop above the Bucerias Art Walk Plaza. Group and private flame work, bead making, fused glass, stained glass and sandblasting workshops are available at very reasonable rates. Classes run Monday-Saturday at 10:00 a.m. All materials are included and studio and torch rental is available once classes are completed.
Splash of Glass is open most days from around 10:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M., though may open earlier or close later as the inspiration hits.
