The Paraiso Yoga Bungalows are located on a quiet, private street one block north of the river that divides Sayulita – just a hop, skip and jump from the beach. The bungalows are surrounded by lush tropical gardens and graceful shade trees.
Guests have a choice of two breezy minimalistic ‘Zen’ bungalows and a dorm, all fitted with queen sized beds. The bungalows are simply furnished yet maintain the whimsical, tropical ambiance you’d expect to find in Mexico. A cot is available at an extra charge and guests have access to a storage area for surfboards, snorkeling equipment and other sporting gear.
Paraiso is suited to singles, couples, friends, surfers and yoga practitioners looking for a restful, respectful, relaxing atmosphere. Guests are welcome to share the property’s open air kitchen and hangout area located in the garden behind the bungalows or enjoy a therapeutic massage. Hiking, birding, whale watching and nature excursions to the Marieta Islands are easily accessible.
A 3 or 6 month pass for unlimited classes are available for locals and yogis and yoginis staying elsewhere in the magical little pueblo of Sayulita. Narayani, the instructor and proprietor, is certified in Ashtanga, Hatha Yoga and Thai Massage. Narayani has studied internationally with respected teachers Duncan Wong, Baptiste Marceau, Peggy Orris and was taught Vipassana meditation by the monks at the Buddhist University of the order Wat Suan Dok.
