La Paloma B&B is located on Lake Chapala in the colonial town of Ajijic, a half hour drive from the Guadalajara International Airport, within a few blocks of cafes, restaurants, galleries, nightlife and a number of artisans.
La Paloma is a charming, one level hacienda where you can find peace and rest and not live by the clock. While here, walk to wonderful little shops and restaurants. Also, you can walk 3 blocks to Lake Chapala, 4 blocks to the Lake Chapala Society, or just sit on the veranda overlooking the pool in our relaxing atmosphere. La Paloma is suited to age 14 and over.
The property has a 40’ solar heated pool and large poolside patio, a garden veranda, a fountain courtyard with a relaxing hammock and a fully equipped kitchen for guest use. Guests have a choice of 8 bird-inspired rooms – Airon, Pavo Real, Colibri, El Nido, El Pelicano, El Loro, Cardelina and Halcon. The rooms vary from single to king and each has their own private bath and TV.
La Paloma is a great place to hold an event. The workshop/gathering room can be reserved for up to 8 hours a day at no charge to guests.
