Over her lengthy art career, Ezshwan Winding has worked in all mediums and, for the past 13+ years, has spent at least 17,000 hours creating artwork from the ancient encaustic technique of layering hot beeswax melted with resin and color pigments, a challenging, exhilarating, sensual process!
Ezshwan Winding visited San Miguel and was so captivated by the quaint architecture, culture and smiling faces of the friendly, smiling locals that she made the decision to leave the U.S. and settle in her San Miguel Artist/Studio full-time. Ezshwan has been living and creating in San Miguel for the past 7+ years.
