The idea for Puerto Vallarta’s first and only plus-sized swimwear store was born on a sunny day as Robina and her husband Carlos sat by the pool at a Puerto Vallarta resort. Robina had tried in vain for days to find a comfortable, flattering suit in her size. As she looked at the women in all different sizes and shapes, she wondered if they felt the same disappointment she did.
“What if all these women wanted to buy a swimsuit on their vacation?” she said to her husband – and a great idea was born. It’s been 5 years since Robina, Carlos and their dog Schatzie left behind their Bay Area condo to realize their dream. Curvas Peligrosa has also realized their customer’s dreams of finding a swim suit that fits and suits their personality!
Curva Peligrosas specializes in beachwear in sizes 6-16 and 18-36 and is popular with locals and tourists alike as the place to find cute, sexy and flattering beachwear and clothing for the full-figured woman.
Located just off the malecon one block north of the Rio Cuale, and one block from the Juarez parking garage, at 178 Juarez in El Centro.
