The Cultural Center (in front of the Montessori of Tepoztlan, Cuernavaca campus) is the home of Cafe 5, Cuernavaca’s only eco-cafe, and Studio 5, host to artist studios, workshops, gallery exhibits, concerts and other cultural events.
Cafe 5 is a unique eco-cafe located n Cuernavaca, Morelos. The restaurant was designed and built by the young, talented Architect Alfredo Cano, founder of T3ARC Art and Architecture Workshop, with recycled materials. The notorious Chef Ana Isabel Garcia oversees the kitchen. At Cafe 5 you will enjoy delicious, economic breakfast and lunch and a good cup of coffee with a fabulous vista of the back drop of the Sierra del Tepozteco mountains and volanoes. Cafe service is available for all Cultural Center events.
All Sababa products including Arik’s famous Jocoque, Baba Ganush and Yogurt Sesame Dressing and other Middle Eastern specialties such as Falafel with authentic Pita Bread are available for sale. You can buy fruits, veggies and herbs directly from the farmer at the Thursday Farmer’s Market – eat healthy at an accessible price and support the environment!
Studio 5 is a result of a long time dream of Jaime Belkind Gerson to create a place where artists can work together in a creative, inspiring environment. The studio has 5 private art studios and a large shared workshop space, rooftop terrace and garden and a covered terrace and garden shard with Cafe 5. Artists can work be inspired with the fabulous vista and the warm Mexico light and shadows – no need to visit the South of France! Cultural events include art shows, concerts, movie night, theatre and much more!
