Bar Frida has been located in Puerto Vallarta’s gay-friendly Zona Romantica since 2001. Bar Frida is in a new location but drink prices are still more than fair. The bartenders are friendly and ready to welcome first timers and regulars from just around the corner! Try some authentic Mexican cuisine along with fresh squeezed lime margaritas or the “coldest beer in town”. Chef Ziggy’s menu is varied – there’s lots of authentic Mexican dishes to choose from but if you’re not adventurous you can order some Chicken Strips or even a BLT.
The jukebox has a large selection of English and Mexican music with hundreds of videos – be prepared – patrons often break out into a sing-song.
